At Grappone Automotive, we believe that education doesn’t stop when you land a job—it’s only the beginning. Our team thrives on continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation. From ongoing training to industry-leading events, we are committed to ensuring the future of skilled trades remains strong.

Building Skills for Today and Tomorrow

The automotive industry evolves quickly, and staying ahead requires dedication to ongoing training. That’s why Grappone encourages our technicians to expand their skills through cutting-edge programs, certifications, and hands-on workshops. Whether it’s mastering the latest EV technologies or refining diagnostic techniques, our team is always learning, adapting, and growing.

We partner with industry leaders and local educational institutions to ensure our technicians have access to the best resources available. This investment isn’t just about professional development—it’s about fostering a culture of growth that benefits our entire community. By investing in our team’s education, we enhance their careers and strengthen our ability to serve our customers with excellence.

Celebrating Success at the Bring Back the Trades Summit

Our commitment to the trades was recently on full display at the Bring Back the Trades Summit, a landmark event held at NHTI as part of our 100th-anniversary celebrations. Featuring keynote speaker Mike Rowe—TV host, skilled trades advocate, and founder of the mikeroweWORKS Foundation—the summit underscored the importance of skilled labor and workforce development in New Hampshire and beyond.

Mike Rowe captivated an audience of over 4,000 attendees, including students, educators, and industry professionals. He shared powerful stories from his decades of advocating for the trades, praised New Hampshire’s commitment to workforce development, and engaged in a lively Q&A session with Governor-elect Kelly Ayotte. Their discussion highlighted the importance of trade education and the need to shift cultural perceptions around skilled labor.

The event wasn’t just about celebration—it was about action. More than 54 schools from across the state participated, demonstrating a growing interest in vocational careers. A highlight of the day was the Tradeapalooza career fair, where over 80 businesses in construction, electrical, energy, and plumbing connected with students and job seekers. To further our commitment, a collective $105,000 in scholarships was awarded to young people pursuing careers in the trades.

A Culture of Encouragement and Growth

Grappone’s dedication to education extends far beyond a single event. We work year-round to break down barriers to career advancement, offering scholarships, mentorship programs, and access to state-of-the-art training facilities. These efforts ensure that our team members feel supported and inspired to pursue their goals, both personally and professionally.

Mike Rowe’s message at the summit was clear: skilled trades matter, and we must change the narrative around these careers. He emphasized the importance of marketing the trades effectively, using platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube to reach today’s youth. His passion for trade education aligns perfectly with our mission at Grappone Automotive—to uplift and empower the next generation of skilled professionals.
