Building the Future, Together: Grappone’s Commitment to Education and the Skilled Trades
At Grappone Automotive Group, we believe learning doesn’t stop when you start a job. It starts because of it. Our team thrives on curiosity, collaboration, and continuous growth. Whether it’s turning a wrench, mentoring a new technician, or leading a conversation on the future of skilled labor, we’re always moving forward, together.
Growing Skills That Keep Pace with Change
The automotive world is evolving fast, and we believe our technicians should be equipped not just for today’s challenges, but for tomorrow’s opportunities. That’s why we support ongoing training through advanced certifications, EV technology programs, and hands-on workshops.
We work closely with industry leaders and local schools to make sure our team has access to the tools they need to grow. Because when we invest in our people, we’re investing in better service for our guests and a stronger future for our community.
Honoring the Trades and the People Who Do the Work
As part of our 100th anniversary, we hosted the Bring Back the Trades Summit at NHTI. It was a day of learning, connection, and inspiration for over 4,000 attendees. The keynote speaker? Mike Rowe, host of Dirty Jobs and longtime advocate for the skilled trades.
Mike’s story, rooted in real work and respect for the trades, struck a chord. He shared stories from two decades of spotlighting essential jobs and reminded us why these careers matter. He also sat down with Governor Kelly Ayotte for a candid conversation about changing how we think and talk about the trades.
The day was full of energy, from the Tradeapalooza career fair, where over 80 businesses connected with students and job seekers, to the $105,000 in scholarships awarded to young people pursuing trades careers. It wasn’t just a celebration. It was a turning point.
Creating Space for People to Grow
Supporting the trades isn’t a one-day event for us. It’s part of how we operate every day. From scholarships and mentorships to top-tier training facilities, we’re working to remove the barriers that keep people from advancing in their careers. We want every technician, whether just starting out or decades in, to feel encouraged and equipped to reach their goals.
That’s what drives our partnerships. That’s why we show up to events like the Bring Back the Trades Summit. And that’s why we keep talking about the importance of these careers, not with hype, but with real stories and honest respect.
Looking Ahead: Let’s Keep Building
Mike Rowe said it best: the trades matter. And it’s up to all of us to keep the momentum going to show young people that these careers are not only vital but also rewarding.
At Grappone, we’re proud to be part of that story. Whether you’re a seasoned technician, a curious student, or someone who just wants to support the trades, you’re welcome here.
This work is worth doing. And the future is worth building together.
