100 Acts of Kindness: Environmental Stewardship

April 29th, 2024 by

At Grappone Automotive Group, we’re fueled by a mission that extends beyond just selling cars- we’re dedicated to making a lasting, positive impact on our community. Recently our team members, Julie and Jeremy, spent their volunteer day at Northeast Resource Recovery Association (NRRA) and dove deep into the world of sustainability and community service.

A Productive Day Of Learning and Improvements

Our team’s involvement at NRRA was a meaningful contribution to an organization devoted to effective recycling and waste management. Julie and Jeremy spent the day renovating NRRA’s facilities and participating in educational discussions around sustainable practices.

Reagan, the Executive Director of NRRA, was thankful for the efforts: “Julie and Jeremy supported us by refreshing the visual appeal and usefulness of our large conference room… and also helped install some equipment to make our building more accessible, such as a small ramp for the front door.”

Insights and Reflections

The volunteer experience provided eye-opening insights into everyday environmental actions, with both Julie and Jeremy sharing how impactful those small daily decisions are, like choosing a reusable bag over a plastic one.

Future Commitments

The “100 Acts of Kindness” initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to community engagement and environmental responsibility. As Julie stated, “It was a prideful experience that made me feel good about helping create a brighter space for community gatherings and discussion on making our planet a better place.”
