Why are Grappone Hyundai and Grappone Toyota transitioning to new ownership?
This transition is part of a long-term strategic decision to ensure Grappone remains a strong, independent, family-owned dealership for years to come. Under the leadership of Amanda Grappone Osmer, we are focusing on Honda, Ford, and Mazda while working closely with the new ownership to ensure a seamless transition for our guests.
Who is purchasing the dealership?
Grappone Hyundai and Grappone Toyota will transition to McGovern Auto Group. McGovern is a family owned dealer group that makes employee retention and satisfaction a top priority in their operating model. They operate dealerships in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, and New Jersey.
When will this be happening?
We expect McGovern Auto Group to become the owner in the third quarter of 2025.
What does this mean for Grappone Hyundai and Toyota guests?
- Guests can continue to purchase and service vehicles during the transition period.
- Sales & Service Will Continue – McGovern Auto Group will continue to offer Hyundai and Toyota vehicle sales and service.
- Existing Warranties & Service Plans Are Still Valid – Any current manufacturer warranties, prepaid maintenance plans, or service agreements will continue to be honored by the new ownership.
- Guest Experience & Support Remains a Priority – Our team has worked to ensure this transition is seamless for our guests.
Will my Grappone Hyundai and Grappone Toyota service plans and warranties still be honored?
Yes. All existing Hyundai or Toyota manufacturer warranties, prepaid maintenance plans, and service contracts will continue to be honored by the new ownership. If you have specific questions about your coverage, please reach out to the dealership for details.
Will I still see the same team at the dealership?
Many of the familiar faces you know from Grappone will continue their careers with the new ownership. While some team members will transition to other Grappone dealerships, others will remain at the Hyundai or Toyota location.
