The Position:
The Communications Coordinator at Grappone Automotive Group is responsible for developing and implementing strategic communication initiatives to enhance brand visibility, engage with our community, and support overall marketing efforts. This role requires a creative, organized, and proactive individual who can manage social media strategies, oversee email marketing campaigns, assist in creating compelling content across various channels, and support graphic design needs.
Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (Scheduled hours may vary within these times.)
Some nights and weekends will be required throughout the year for marketing support at special events.
Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy and Management
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand visibility and engagement across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Monitor social media channels, respond to interactions, and engage with followers to maintain a positive and consistent brand voice.
- Analyze social media performance metrics and provide insights and recommendations to optimize content and strategies.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and curate engaging content for various channels, including blog posts and email campaigns.
- Assist in the development and execution of content calendars to ensure timely and consistent communication.
- Work with the Photographer/Videographer to integrate visual content into communication strategies.
Email Marketing Campaigns
- Coordinate and execute email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, design, scheduling, and performance analysis.
- Develop and manage email lists, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with privacy regulations.
- Analyze email campaign performance and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
Brand Voice and Messaging
- Assist in ensuring all communications reflect Grappone Automotive Group’s brand voice and messaging guidelines.
- Draft and edit content for various marketing materials, including press releases, newsletters, and website content.
- Support maintaining a consistent brand message across all external and internal communications.
Graphic Design Support
- Create and design graphics for various marketing materials, including social media posts, email campaigns, blog posts, and print materials.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop visually appealing and brand-consistent graphics.
Maintain a library of design assets, ensuring they are up-to-date and easily accessible for team members.
- Assist in video editing and production as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in a communications or marketing role, preferably within the automotive or retail industry.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, email marketing tools, and content management systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and consistency.
Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing tools.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
